REFUGEE PROGRAMS

Tutoring Programs
The Uyghur and Tibetan Voices Project is launching tutoring programs for refugees seeking academic support for themselves or their children. Refugees will be paired one-on-one with an academic tutor to assist with math, English and other academic subjects over video calls.

Community Support Groups
We would like to assist refugees connect with one another. Our groups will be a place to discuss feelings, fears, and victories and as well as share culture and learnings.

Financial Literacy Classes
We will teach a variety of useful skills including everything from how to establish credit, build a desirable credit score, manage finances, set up a business, identify sources of financial aid and so much more.
Mentor Match
We will be matching refugees with members of the community to help with all aspects of life including school and work. For children and teens, this would be other students that will be “buddies.” For adults, these will be professionals based on help is needed.
